At the Annual Meeting, the Hauge Congregation approved donation of
$1,000 to the Friends of Ngong Road ministry in Kenya, East Africa to
help Pastor Peter Ndungu to acquire a used vehicle for use in his ministry
to AIDS families there
. Anyone who would like to help can contact Pastor
Gene or go to www.ngongroad.org

The Hauge Congregation also voted to help Amelia Larson with expenses
necessary to spend spring break with other Luther College students assisting
victims of Hurricane Katrina to clean-up and repair homes in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Technical expertise also is being provided by Decorah-area volunteers from
Habitat for Humanity and Lutheran World Relief. Our thanks to all these giving people.

The Congregation also approved the following renovation projects
for the church building and grounds:

1) Repair of the sidewalk outside the basement doorway.

2) Preparation and resurfacing of the basement floor in the dining/
fellowship/Sunday school area.

3) Ceiling repairs in the balcony by the belfy door and in the Sunday
school room.

4) Painting of the Sanctuary ceiling and walls, including restoring the
traditional decals, and repainting the altar rail and pulpit.

We are grateful that some generous donors already have contributed
toward this restoration
project. If the Lord leads you to help us with these
necessary repairs and improvements, please send your contribution to:
